The University of Nottingham’s New DSpace-CRIS Repository Is Now Live: The University of Nottingham’s new repository is based on DSpace-CRIS version 8 and is fully hosted on AWS cloud infrastructure, featuring a modern architecture built on Amazon EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service).
This cloud-native configuration ensures scalability, resilience, high availability, and long-term sustainability, meeting the evolving needs of researchers, administrators, and the wider academic community.

The new portal brings together two previous institutional repositories, integrating their content, workflows, and user experiences into a single digital environment.
All major customizations have been carefully migrated and optimized, ensuring continuity, consistency, and an improved experience for both end users and repository administrators.
