Minneapolis, MN, Sept 2024
What an amazing experience has been to be part of the DSpace North American User meeting at the University of Minnesota! It was the first DSpace North American User Meeting since 2019! It was great to be part of it meeting many wonderful people and listening and engaging with many great presentations!
One of the highlights was the preview of the DASH STORIES project, a collaborative effort between Harvard University and 4Science. It’s exciting to see innovative projects like this enabling prestigious institutions to shape the future of IR!
Andrea Bollini, our CTIO, presented the new features of DSpace 8 developed by 4Science, a preview of the possibilities ahead of DSpace 9 & 10 with a focus on 4Science’s efforts as leaders in accessibility developments and improvements for DSpace.
In addition, in this presentation, we discussed:
- Data Correction

We look forward to seeing how these developments will shape the future of DSpace and empower users everywhere! You can see the presentation’s slides here: DSpace 8 features and DSpace 9&10 preview | PPT (slideshare.net)
