Our CTIO Andrea Bollini was able to present the DSpace and ORCID integration during the ORCID Community Call dedicated to the ORCID U.S. and ORCID CA consortium members. We were invited as 4Science is an ORCID registered service provider and main developers of this huge initiative to bring ORCID to the DSpace community. Andrea was able to explain the path that 4Science had to take in order to make this integration happen as well as the technical features in the platform. It was amazing to see the interest in such a huge step forward in the DSpace community for a better solution that integrates an amazing tool like ORCID. At 4Science as the main developers of this initiative, we are very proud of this achievement as the DSpace 7 platform will revolutionize the Repository world. We are honored to have had the opportunity to share with you the steps we took in order to improve the DSpace platform and our vision of the future of #OpenScience and #OpenKnowledge
