On 22-23 October Lyrasis (incorporating DuraSpace), COAR, and 4Science will hold a workshop on “New Generation Repositories and Bridging Communities” at the University of Pretoria, South Africa: a good chance for the African DSpace community to get together and learn about DSpace 7, DSpace-CRIS, and COAR NGR recommendations. 4Science was awarded for the implementation of the OpenAIRE-CRIS-CERIF Guidelines in DSpace-CRIS (https://www.4science.it/en/2019/05/23/4science-awarded-for-the-implementation-of-the-openaire-cris-cerif-guidelines-in-dspace-cris/). At the moment three pilots are running: the Technical University Hamburg in Germany, the University of Trieste in Italy, the University of Technology in Cyprus are working together with 4Science to test the implementation with the aim of releasing it for the whole community.
