The schedule for the DuraSpace-euroCRIS Interoperability Event, focused on interoperability between DSpace repository and CRIS systems on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 (in advance of the CRIS 2018 Conference in Umeå, Sweden) is now available: http://www.cris2018.se/
As you can see in the agenda, 4Science is going to lead a workshop on DSpace-CRIS (https://wiki.duraspace.org/display/DSPACECRIS/DSpace-CRIS+Home).
During the workshop researchers, librarians, technicians and repository managers from different European institutions will expose their case studies, focusing on lessons learned, benefits and challenges arisen, implementing and using DSpace-CRIS, the free open-source extension of DSpace for the Research Data and Information Management.
Morever we will update the community on DSpace 7 development activities, on COAR Next Generation Repositories and OpenAIRE Recommendations and on the outcomes of Open Repositories 2018.
During the event, DSpace users will have a great opportunity to discuss functionalities that DSpace could implement in the future to more effectively support workflows traditionally associated with Research Information Systems.
The meeting is open to the international community of DSpace Users and to all those who are interested in exploring DSpace and DSpace-CRIS as sustainable solutions for their project. All participants will have a chance to get together and share their experience and use cases to the benefit of the whole community.
If you are interested in participating – as we hope you are – please let us know by filling in this form.
We look forward to seeing you there![:en]The schedule for the DuraSpace-euroCRIS Interoperability Event, focused on interoperability between DSpace repository and CRIS systems on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 (in advance of the CRIS 2018 Conference in Umeå, Sweden) is now available: http://www.cris2018.se/
