At the euroCRIS Strategic Membership Meeting, Nov 8-10 at EHTF/EKT in Athens,
http://www.eurocris.org/activities/membership-meetings/athens-strategic-membership-meeting-november-2016, 4Science will have an important role in various contexts, both as sponsors, as vendors, as technical advisors, as presenters, and, of course, as participants to learn from other participants’ experience and knowledge.
We are a company in the CRIS business with DSpace-CRIS, the only free open-source complete solution for the research information management, and we will present how to connect a CRIS to RDM (research data management) tools at the vendor’s session.
Andrea Bollini as member of the Task Group on CERIF, the open standard for modelling the domain of research information and data exchange, will present the new CERIF-XML format, together with Jan Dvorak.
Susanna Mornati will facilitate a workshop on RDM for the Task Groups CRIS/IR and DRIS/BP.
Keeping in mind the imminent mandatory character of the EC Open Data Pilot being currently implemented under the OpenAIRE project, the euroCRIS community decided to focus this TG meeting on Research Data Management and the needs for the CRIS/IR infrastructure to be able to handle this work. All participants will share ideas and experiences on the treatment of research data at their institutions, whether managed or not, and on draft requirements on the role of institutions in RDM and the tools to achieve these.
The experience and expertise of 4Science people are always shared with open communities![:en]At the euroCRIS Strategic Membership Meeting, Nov 8-10 at EHTF/EKT in Athens,
