Plenty of new DSpace and DSpace-CRIS projects began this month, from Africa with the Durban University of Technology to Asia with the University of Kuwait, to Europe with the University College Dublin, the University of Coimbra and the National Institute of Astrophysics in Italy. All these institutions have turned to 4Science to carry out their repository projects in a variety of domains: research outputs, theses and dissertations, cultural heritage, and knowledge dissemination.

Last, but not least, at PASIG 2017, Erin Tripp, Business Development Manager, DuraSpace announced plans to help implement a DuraCloud service in Europe through a project with 4Science (more on that coming soon). At 4Science we believe that digital preservation is getting more and more important within research and cultural heritage data management.
