We are proud to share with our friends, partners, and clients, the news that our Giuseppe “Digi” Digilio has become a DSpace Committer. Another addition to the great 4Science team that has been working for years to make DSpace the best repository technology in the world and keep it free for the whole community: congratulations Digi!

Dear DSpace Community,

The DSpace Committers are delighted to announce a new member to the team: Giuseppe Digilio from 4Science. Please join us in welcoming him!

Giuseppe is a Senior Software Engineer at 4Science with experience in the development and analysis of web applications for Digital Libraries and Electronic Publishing. Since 2018, he has been collaborating with the DSpace Community on the development of the new DSpace 7 User Interface. In particular, Giuseppe’s work has been focused on the design and development of the new submission module. He also created the initial UI design principles and guidelines for DSpace v7.

We are always on the lookout for new developers, contributors, and committers within the DSpace community. Anyone who would like to get more involved is encouraged to join our weekly developer meetings.

Contributions can take many forms, from writing code to editing documentation, or testing new releases, to improving the theme/usability of our user interface. For more information, see our guide to contributing to DSpace:
